County of Avery issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.

Due to impending bad weather, the Newland Fall Festival has been moved to October 8th, 2022.         

Join for a full day of fun at The Riverwalk from 10 am to 6 pm on October 1, 2022.

Our Fall Festival focuses on handmade crafts, delectable foods, and food trucks.

Fall-themed retail and a little early Christmas shopping.

Vendors will be set up from 10-6 with music and entertainment throughout the day.
