COUNTY OF AVERY: Is Seeking Qualified Environmental Services Assessment Contractors

County of Avery issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.

Avery County is seeking qualified environmental services assessment contractors to place an informal proposal on assessment and recommendation of asbestos and/or mold removal at the Avery CARES building at 636 Cranberry Street, Newland, NC 28657.

Contractors interested in bidding on this project will need to submit a proposed cost estimate for the 1,632 square foot building.  

Contractors participating in this project are required to be licensed, carry workers compensation, general liability insurance. 

 Deadline for proposals will be March 1, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
