ALLEGHANY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Public Service Announcement!

0Comments

Alleghany Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.

On December 3rd, Main Street, Sparta, at the intersection of Hwy 21 and Hwy 18 (Whitehead Street) will be closed briefly from 5:50 pm to approximately 6:15 pm for the Tree Lighting ceremony at the Alleghany Courthouse.

This will allow folks to gather round, hear the sweet voices of The Howell sisters, enjoy the Jubilee Dancers and to hear Santa read his Christmas proclamation!

After the ceremony, the streets will reopen so that shoppers can access our stores and restaurants for their extended hours and take a drive through town to see all the beautiful holiday lights!

Don’t forget once the tree is lit, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Alleghany Chamber until 7:30.

We look forward to seeing you!
